PREFABRICATED BUILDING AND COMPLIANCE WITH THE APPLICABLE LEGISLATION

Prefabricated construction is distinguished, compared to “traditional” construction, by:

  • short installation times
  • low costs
  • greater adaptability to difficult environmental/territorial conditions
  • ease of disassembly (in case of temporary structures)
  • great functionality and comfort as well as aesthetic care

This makes it particularly suitable for: offices, schools, recreation and community centers, but also for disaster cases or emergency conditions.

Modulcasa Line S.p.A. takes care of every step of the order with dependent staff: design, production, assembly on site and installation of systems.

Attention and compliance must always be placed at the forefront, particularly when it comes to public places or collective facilities such as, for example, school buildings, community centers, places of worship, housing, etc.

ISO 3834-2:2006

In October 2010, the process for ISO 3834-2:2006, Welding Quality Management System, certification was successfully completed.

What is ISO 3834-2:2006?

The UNI EN ISO 3834:2006 standard, “Quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials”, is the standard that defines the extended quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials both in the workshop and on the construction site

It does not replace, but complements, the UNI EN ISO 9001 series, when the production of the products involves the use of the “Special Structural Welding Process”, in order to ensure that this fundamental phase of the construction chain:

be managed by specially qualified personnel;
that raw materials and supply materials are subjected to internal controls regarding their regulatory compliance;
That the final product, before leaving for the construction site, is subjected to a series of non-destructive tests (non-destructive checks on structural welds)
That the equipment used is subjected to specific checks for proper operation

The CE Marking affixed, shall then indicate compliance with the intended use as specified in the various options of the standard itself.

According to the standard, organizations that manufacture welded structures, or parts thereof, of steel or aluminum, must perform such activities in accordance with the relevant parts of the UNI EN ISO 3834 series standards. The relationship between the execution classes of the structures and the applicable UNI EN ISO 3834 standards is contained within EN 1090-1.
